Sharpco, Inc., located in Monroe, LA, has been in business since
1972. For the last three of those they have been manufacturing
sweeper shoes. Until June of this year the drag shoe line was
marketed through Heavyquip. However, Heavyquip management
decided the sweeper drag shoe business did not fit their
marketing mix and so sold the marketing of the line to Sharpco.
James Sharplin, Sharpco's president, said their organization is
excited about taking over the marketing of their product line.
"Sharpco's production facility is second-to-none in the
industry," said Sharplin. "With over 42,000 square feet under
roof, our trained personnel perform every operation of the shoe
production in-house. This provides us with excellent quality
control and, now, factory-direct pricing.......
